Kim Loeffler victorious at Desert Classic Duathlon Loeffler reaping benefits of a new training camp and new coach February 25, 2009 – Phoenix, AZ – After a disappointing outing at the Ironman World Championship in Kona last year, Kim Loeffler was determined to make some changes in 2009. Based in Colchester Vermont, Loeffler typically deals with below freezing temps and snowy, windy conditions during her early season training. This year however, Loeffler decided to commit herself to a three month long stint in Tucson Arizona under the guidance of her new coach Cliff English.

Hola mis amigos! The 2009 race season is upon us. Hard to believe! I raced the Pucon 70.3 in Chile over the weekend, and came second, for the second year in a row. As I told the race director, Pedro: I will be back!! I will win this race!

I am currently enjoying my time out in Cairns, Australia after a year that saw some great results, good results, and ones I would rather forget. Its really nice to chill out and see my parents for the first time in a couple of years. They have been my biggest fan well before I took the road of being a professional triathlete.

Loeffler working back to form after early season injuries May 20, 2008 – Kim Loeffler has long been known for her ability to run down the pack at the end of any race. But this past Sunday at the Ford Ironman 70.3 in Orlando Florida, it was Loeffler’s impressive 2:26:33 bike split (2nd fastest among the pro women) that kept her within striking distance of the lead women. Podium finish caps off impressive season November 11, 2007 – Clearwater, Florida – Just four weeks after making her Ironman debut at the Ford Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona Hawaii where she finished 8th, Great Britain’s Leanda Cave topped off an impressive season by finishing 3rd overall in a time of 4 hours 12 minutes at the Ford Ironman 70.3 World Championship held this past Saturday in Clearwater Florida.
 

Corbin wins Subaru Vancouver International Half Iron

September 16, 2007 (Vancouver, BC) Linsey Corbin, of the United States, and Ukraine’s Team Timex Member Andriy Yastrebov reigned victorious at the inaugural Subaru Vancouver International Half Iron today. The beautiful view of Vancouver and the coastal mountains from Jericho Beach served as the perfect backdrop for the third and final stop of the Subaru West Coast Triathlon Series.
